KAIRAS (kah-EAR-ras)
The KaIRas Initiative is a call to discerning Black men of conscience who are looking to claim their life’s purpose, embody their ancestral traditions of unparalleled leadership, and contribute to the rich legacy of Black manhood. Our legacy as Black men tells us all too well that the consequences for us can be very different from what is expected for everyone else. So, rather than merely focus on the statistical challenges at stake, we must discover how best to define Black manhood for ourselves. |

KAIRAS COACHING
Empowered by the achievements of our Ancestors and encouraged by our present excellence, Black men have a rich legacy. Our present opportunity is to transform our stressful situations into successful achievements, while restoring a communal sense of brotherhood. Inadequate self-awareness and overwhelming social negation present an enormous opportunity: a KaIRas Moment. To adequately appreciate this opportunity, a keen sense of cultural competency is required to offer effective interventions. |

Without this premise, you may be regulated to repeat the unconscious and oppressive narratives that currently feed the emotional wounds that cause your toxic stress. MEET THE FOUNDER
The KaIRas Initiative is the brainchild of Dr. Harold Massey. Dr. Massey approaches this vital work and mission with a track record of transformational interventions with both individuals and organizations. His work is informed further by his own roles as a successful husband of nearly four decades, a father of three, a mentor, a certified life and leadership coach across an international spectrum of life and organizational settings. Dr. Massey regards the current social crises as mere symptoms of deeper realities, rooted in history and yet-emerging social paradigms. These crises confirm, more than ever before, that “Now is a KaIRas Moment!” |
