To engage in the KaIRas Initiative, we first must begin with how you see yourself as a Black Man. (Note here that we will always capitalize Black as our self-determined alternative proper noun to Caucasian labels of Negro and Colored for our racial designation.) Without this premise, you may repeat the unconscious, degrading narratives that currently feed the wounds that cause your stress. The greater your self-awareness, the greater your capacity to engage the world, linking definitive, vital Cosmic purposes (i.e. destiny) to fulfill your life and its legacy.

The KaIRas courses are designed to cause you to question what you believe, what you think you know, and what you feel, in order to make you more conscious of your inner thoughts, emotions and being. With this new self-consciousness, you can better align your head and your heart, allowing you to lead--more intentionally--a life of legacy that enriches the community.

Manhood, Methods, & Meanings©

The Manhood, Methods, & Meanings© (MM&M) course provides a foundation for you to define your own Black manhood from an affirmed Black male perspective. It understands and appropriates values so often denied and invisible to the general society. Beneath those negations are wounds and even hostilities faced by Black men throughout history. Too often our gifts are threatening by their very definitions and their contrasts to racist stereotyping. MM&M explores these realities and how they have informed who we are in creating polarities of opposition. These polarities can lock us in to "behavioral gravity wells" predicated upon our negation rather than apt appreciations, empowering our transcendence beyond such negatives.
